Thanks guys I am glad you are all interested.

I am still in the process of patenting. Costing me almost $3000 to get this thing patented. Real PITA.

I will not be selling them personally but will allow a company to produce them. I will keep everyone updated as things progress.

just make sure it's not crooked like that.

I'm sure they will have an ordinabce against a crooked front plate!

I'm pretty amazed that I haven't been cited for no front plate in over 3 years and 31,000 miles. But I guess I don't park on the street too much.

Haha...it's not crooked anymore. That was just the initial fitbefore installing the brackets. It's straight as an arrow now.

Do you have any sort of a time frame yet?

With the likely installation of a GT500 front end in my future, I will not, under any circumstances, be drilling the holes out in the front of the new bumper for a license plate.

I noticed you are from Maryland. Im about 90% sure it's legal to go without the front plate...

Edit- Nevermind. lol

Lawyer keeps pushing back the deadlines. After the patent goes through I will still need to sell it to a manufacturer. I'll keep you all posted.

that kinda reminds me of my toolbox retractable stereo...put it together way back in '93, still workin

edit- was gonna upload a mpeg of the radio popping up, but guess those arent allowed in here...used a 4pole double throw switch off the right side key mechanism and a single pole double throw switch as the jackscrew revers/stop/stereo on switch...was pretty proud of it as its sequenced with just the two switches, no relays...the gearmotor was a graupner(sp?) R/C model sailboat winch servo, little sucker has lasted a long time. The craftsman box has seen better days- the doublewide has stress cracks at every corner(even though boxes arebolted thru 2" rubber blocks onto the frame) on my third set of phenolic wheels now...rolls easy but a bear to stop

Re-Edit: finally setup a photobucket thing- cool http://s301.photobucket.com/albums/n...lboxstereo.flv
