Default TPMS QUESTION

i put new wheels and tires on my car,i bought them from another forum member.i replaced all my wheels and all is good.the other day im driving along and i get this weird blinking light on my dash, look it up and it is the TPMS,didnt know i even had this feature on my 07 gt.so does this mean that the sensors are installed on these wheels?only stock wheel in the car is the spare.i get the light at start up,then it goes off after 3 seconds, starts flashing sometimes as i go down the road.i have 20's now and my pressure in these tires is about 50psi.what happens if you remove all the sensors from the car?

you need to have new bands and sensors put in the wheels, this is a standard feature on the 07+

what happens when the tires with bands are removed from the car entirly?

i only get the flashing light every once in a while, seems like if the tires didnt have bands in them i would get the flashing light all the time.

+1, i had tpms fault b/c i broke all 4 bands in the tires. He said this only happens when your going extremelly fast (135 mph) is how fast i went.. and i probably wont be doing that again after sitting at the dealer for 4 hours.

just press the reset button on the dash and it goes away. but you gotta press it each time you start the car. this is the cheap solution.

I just bought some rims too. I also bought the bands for TPMS from American Muscle. Now I just hope the Goodyear place knows how to transfer the sensors correctly.
