I installed the procharger myself in 3 days because of light issues, but anyway, it is in and boy do I love it. The only problem I have with it is that the car will not hold the street now, when I get into it the car slides left and right, but when it hooks, omg this car is a beast now. To all of you who are thinking about FI, go for it, it is worth it. When i finished it up I hit the streets, whats the first thing that pulls nect to me, a Z06, and i murdered him after it hooked. The sound of the blower is great but the sound of the purge system sounds too much like a turbo. Anyway the car snaps your neck back and I have not dynoed it or got it tuned but with the factory tune it is great, pics and videos coming soon.

 

What year Z06 was this?

 

I thought you NEEDED a tune for the car to run properly after a supercharge install? I could be wrong though anyone feel free to correct me.

 

how much boost you running?

 

the basic tune will get you on the road but you wont make max gains till you dyno tune it at a good shop

It was an older z06 it had the flip up headlights, and right now its running at about 7 pounds of boost. I get it tuned this week so it supposed to run at 10 pounds of boost but I am happy where it is now. I installed the tune that came on the predator, it runs great right now, now if I could just get rid of that purge system sound i will be really happy.
