A friend of mine has a procharger p1sc like mine on his 06 gt .... he has motor oil in the intercooler and the tubing...he had the same issue with his 01 gt p1sc procharger kit..... what could cause this to happen?

its not motor oil, mine did it on my 01, its the supercharger oil, the seal is shot on the unit, mine went bad after 10,000 miles....... I swore to myself i'd never buy another supercharger from procharger..... these seals are known to go bad and if i knew that when i was purchasing mine i would have gone a different route for FI. But i did the same as u when looking for the leak, i disassembled everything and cleaned out the intercooler and everything and after wasting a day taking everything apart and cleaning it and putting it back on the oil appeared again.... BAD SEAL..... what a waste of 4000 grand. Sorry but thats my experience with prochargers unit and it left me with a bad attitude thowards them, oh and when i called them about the issuse, the tech was a freakin ***** to me on the phone and talked to me like i had no clue what the hell was going on. Sorry for your problem to,

The procharger doesn't use engine oil right? If it has it's own internal oiling system then it's most likely from the PCV valve. I don't know how all the hoses are hooked up with a procharger so i can't say for sure. If it does connect to the cars oil pan then it's obviously got an internal seal leaking on the procharger itself.

you have to buy oil from procharger that goes in the unit, there are no hoses that run the oil. I thought the same thing with the pvc and i had a catch can installed and barely anything was going in, so that lead me to thinking it was something else, turning out to be the unit seal.

i thought it was also the pvc too becuase my cai was coated with oil but then when i realized that the reciir hose connects to the intake thats where it was coming from, when the bypass valve was blowin off it would blow the oil up the line into the cai tubing. I bet if he takes the tubing off on the blade side of the procharger unit its coated with oil and his intercooler too.
