vs WRX STi
After picking up a couple friends from school I ran into a slightly modified (exhaust, blow-off valve, intake, and pipes- from what I could tell) WRX STi.
I can take them stock (STi's), but this one was one hell of a quick car.
From a rolling start at 30mph heslowly pulled toabout3/4 car length ahead of me until I hit 4th and began pulling (even slower)on him. We had to slow down before I hit 5th.
My ego was bruised.
But it was fun.
Can't wait for that carbon fiber driveshaft!

I should have some pictures up soon. The front lip isn't painted yet because my speed shop suggested that I leave it unpainted (textured black) until I'm used to having it on. It was good advice as the first thing my friend did after test driving it (I had all parts installed at one time after careful selection) was 'hit' the curb when trying to park. I did it as well several times and now the front point is a bit scuffed.
It'll be painted soon and pictures should be up even sooner!

Hey Sti Rob. Do you wanna see pics of his car to see if that's the stang you picked off the other day?

Thats funny.Ive only run one Mustang with my STi and that was my neighbors Mach 1. I waswanting to see pics to get Ideas for my Mustang I have ordered. There is an unbelievable amount of parts for these cars and Im just trying to see as many different combinations as possible. That and I just like cars in general.Rob
I thought you might get a kick out of that
. "Unbelievalble amount of parts". Yeah, that pretty much sums up why I got my stang. I've always been a fan of the 5.4 mod motor, which I think is an incredible engine. After much consideration (and bang/buck) I decided on the stang.
Now I just have to figure out how to get rid of this horrid suspension the stock stang comes with. Next on the upgrade list is:
http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=967
and http://www.fays2.net/fays2_watts_link_11_.htmlalong with some good upper/lower lca's. Should handle better thana C6. Maybe not an STi.... yet

A "little" improvement? I've had mine for about 6 mos. now and I've done all exterior/performance mods. It's becoming painfully obvious that I should have spent some more money on suspension. After the increase in performance, the suspension becomes really bad. My front end points toward the SKY every time I get on it. Too much power, not enough suspension. But, the mustang is in a raw form when you purchase it. SWEET engine with lots of potential and the suspension has lots of potential also, you just have to feed it $$$$.
