I was just wondering...
when did Ford's quality improve enough for them to start putting 6 digits in its odometer?

I hope that means things have improved enough for the rest of our cars to accumulate serious miles! Or is there no sixth digit higher than a one?

I've never had any problems with Ford's reliability. My dad bought a new '96 Explorer in '96 and its still in my family (my sister drives it). It has 250,000 miles on it, and it has never had a single problem (my dad and I are maintenance ***** though LOL). My truck is only at 40k or so, and the only problem is gas mileage

I also think you may be the first S197 owner to hit the 100k mark.

(I would have edited my last post but I kept getting the error screen when I hit the edit button)

So what's the prize besides an '06 GT worth about $10k[:@]

I put 100,000 miles on my 70 Cougar since 2000...
And I do this on a classic car!
Worse case scenario, I'll build it again. Can't take it with me when I'm dead, can I ?
You might not be able to take it with you, but you could have your funeral outside, pull the stang
right up next to your coffin. lol
When my dad passed away they let us pull his motorcycle into the
funeral home, park it next to him. Couple of the guy's lead the persession with that, and his vette.
hmmmm, I'm sad now......
Congrats on the 100,000.
sorry for being OT.

Some things aren't about money........my good times in my car are priceless.

Moneywise, yeah, the car depreciates...........but for good times and memories? My car is appreciated!
