Hurst install price

RE: Hurst install price
Don't try to put the Hurst shifter through the hole with the bushing beam forward. Put it in straight down first until the whole thing is inside the hole and resting on the driveshaft. Then you can go underneath the car and adjust it where it needs to go. Also, when connecting the shift linkage to the shifter, the offset should point toward the DRIVER'S SIDE, not the passenger's side as the instructions state. Observe the way your stock shifter is oriented and do the same with the Hurst.

RE: Hurst install price
Just have a helper handy to guide it through. I tried to do it solo (like so many of my other mods) and eventually had to call a friend (like so many of my other mods ) to guide it from above.
If you don't want to go through the crap (I know what it's like, I only get a few days off a year) then take it tothe dealership where you purchased the car. They'll do it right and won't chop your arm off.
