Default Hurst install price

I have read a couple different diy install walk-throughs online and I really belive me and a helper can do it , but with only 5 more days off for the rest of the year plus the holidays I want to just pay a shop to do it. So what would you guys consider a reasonable labor charge. If its done at a shop with a lift and two people I canlt see it taking more than an hour and a half. How much is good, or better yet is there anyone around Atlanta that knows how to do it and need some shopping $$!

You should really do it yourself. It is that easy.

I really suggest you and a friend, but sometimes its just not feasible, so if you must go to a shop, I would not pay more than 50, maybe 75 tops.

Do it yourself, as said before, it will take an hour tops. You'll probably spend more time figuring out how to get the new shifter through the hole in the trans tunnel than actually loosening and tightening bolts. This was my first mod and it took me an hour after work.

I know it has to be easy from everything I read. I guess I will get up Monday morning to pick it up from summit, and come home to do it, can I really complete it 1.5hrs by myself?

Yes, as long as you can get the car off the ground enough to work around the transmission you'll be fine. I used a set of ramps. Like I said before, the hardest part is getting the Hurst shifter back through the hole in the tunnel. It will seem like it won't fit, trust me it will. You won't be able to use a socket & wrench for the forward mounting bolt, make sure you have a slim wrench to fit in there.
