Default Problems with my window tinting

Have any of you had this problem with your window tinting? I got mine done less than a year ago, and since then have discovered all kinds of scratches vertically down the window from rolling it up and down and I'm guessing from the auto window roll down when you open and shut the doors. I have had the window track cleaned at the dealer, but I don't think it did any good. I can't tell because I had it cleaned after the scratches were already there. Some are smears of dirt and clean off, but a lot of them (right in the middle of the window) don't come off and it is driving me crazy.Does anyone have any suggestions? This is the first tint job I have hated. I am really irritated and want new tint, but don't know who to go through and am nervous now that it will get scratched all the time.

If anyone can help, please I am all ears...Thanx

Search the forum and you'll find hundreds of posts on this exact subject. They all do that (mine did it too). You need to install moleskin or some kind of felt to keep this from happening. If your tint place offers a lifetime warranty (most do), they may just take care of replacing the tint for free and then you can decide whether to pay them to install the moleskin, or just do it yourself.

Here's a gerat DIY write-up: https://mustangforums.com/m_3059554/tm.htm

my windows have been tinted since 2 days after i bought my car(oct 17th) no scratches at all..BUUUUUT something did scratch the window itself on the OUTSIDE when putting it up/down(heard a screech as ti went down, put it back and there was a 5" scratch)..id much rahter it have been the tint, i assume that should be under warranty though, but i bet a dealer would try to blame it on the tint, even thought tint is on the inside, scratch is on the outside

Yeah alot of people have the same issue...mine look like crap but I just can't bring myself to pay to have them done again because Ford is so damn cheap. I will have them redone just not yet.
