Default getting ready for a lonnnnggggg road trip

well in about 2 weeks im drive my car back down from canada. a total of just over 1400 miles.. whats the best cruising speed to conserve gas.

110 isnt fast enough for me in north dakota. i forget the name of the road but i was cruising at about 130 for a good 45 min . i love the open flat roads out there. i just hope theres no snow when i drive

Just follow the speed limit. Avoid gunning the car and try to use the cruise control as much as possible.

I get my best MPG between 60 and 65.

60 and 65... i agree with it, but i cant seem to stay lower than 75 when im driving back to houston to visit family.

My best speeds for mileage are 60-65, but I can usually get 25+mph up to 80mph. Anything above that and the mpg quickly start falling.

I hear you. Mine is only turning 2000 rpms at 70, but at 50-55ish, I feel that it is bogging down in too high a gear. At 60, I get 29-30 mpg.

Hrm. Get a tune. I was getting 28-30 MPG at 80-85 MPH last week on my Thanksgiving trek.
