For anyone who owns or is familiar with this kit, when is full boost being acheived? I am debating if I should go aheah and get the larger turbo now or wait till later. I dont plan anytime soon to be pushing the 550rwhp level but may someday. How much faster will the ball bearing upgrade help? Thanks

Have you tried calling Hellion yet to see what they say? I like that kit for a Turbo -- someday -- very very soon[:-]

 

No I have not called Hellion. Im pretty sure of what Hellion would say. I was just looking for some feedback from any members that have had experience with this turbo. I like to hear about 1st hand customer experience.

 

go supercharger, that way you don't have to fear turbo lag , and you will push 550hp or more

 

The lag is no more...what supercharger kits put down 550 rwhp without major engine work?

 

60MM can support 700RWHP...

 

You can get big power out of either but you are gonna have to do many more supporting mods and the price is gonna go through the roof

 

Im definitely going turbo. I will probably just get the 76mm. I know some of the smaller turbos such as 62mm etc. make awesome power but once you get above the 550+ rwhp thats pushing the efficency of the smaller turbos. From what I have researched the modern turbos are making full boost by approx. 3000rpm. I think that is pretty good

 

are you sure a 60mm can support 700rwhp?? I've been told by many that my 62mm will have trouble breaking 600rwhp on it's own. It would make sense too - i'm at 13psi 520 hp, and it maxes at 18psi, that's maybe 100hp more. So 700 seems questionable. Could be wrong, I'll find out in the spring
