Too pricey??? I see a lot of superchargers, aftermarket hoods, and expensive tires on here. How can those mufflers be too pricey? This forum is full of rich people. I'm sure someone can afford to buy them to test them out. If they don't work, sell the pair for $100 cheaper. So you lose $100.....BIG DEAL! Just eat at home a couple more times this month.
I don't know what makes you think that. Hello! This is a Mustang forum, not Ferrari/Lambo. I say this forum is full of people who want a fast car (myself), or the ones that simply wanna own a Mustang because it's simply a legend. Whichever one it is, it does not necessarily mean that either one type of them is gonna wanna pay 500 dollars for 2 mufflers. Think about it, wouldn't there be more GT500's here if this was all about rich?

one thing people have to understand, and this has already been said, is that our cars will not sound like the older mustangs. not like the 60's-70's mustangs, not like the SN95's, not like the new edges.

instead, embrace and love the 3v sound!!! its a different sound, but it can be just as good, if not better, than any other mustang. offroad h pipe with steeda's, offroad x pipe with corsas, mac axlebacks, pypes mid muffler, it all sounds good!

No, I don't.

I guess $500 is not too much for a pair of mufflers for a lot of people on here. I see a lot of Bassani, Borla, and Corsa in member sigs. Those ain't cheap.

....moving on...

The Bassani axlebacks on Brenspeed look a lot like the Bullitt mufflers. Does anyone know who makes the Bullitt mufflers for Ford?

Ok you've proven your point, this forum is full of billionaires and that's why they all roll in Stangs and ask questions like "I got 400 bux to spend. what should my next mod be?" I'm sorry I even tried to prove the opposite.

I don't think people (most people) buy a car because it's the most expensive car they could have bought. People buy Mustangs because they want a Mustang. A GT500 is a totally different car than a GT. I wanted a GT, and I was blessed with enough money to afford one. Even if I had $1 million to spend, I'd have still gotten the same car because I BOUGHT WHAT I WANTED! Did you look at your bank account and say, "Hmmm...what's the most expensive car I can buy? Hmmmm...a Mustang GT!" If so, you're not a Mustang fan. You're just looking for a status symbol. Of course, I don't think you did that, and anyone who does is a plain idiot.

To the general public: Don't just read the posts. Try to understand them also. Sorry if that's "abrasive" to anyone.
