Differences between GT Deluxe and Premium?
(New to the boards, so I apologize if this has been asked before)
I was wondering if there are any notable differences between the two models. I was doing some ballpark pricing on the Kelley Blue Book site, and all I saw were a couple things that were standard on the Premium and optional on the Deluxe, but when I had both cars set up with the features I wanted, the Premium ended up being $500 more. Any insight as to why?

Hi,
Because you don't want he good stuff on your pony? The Premium has most of the good stuff added, leather, leather wraped steering wheel, Shaker500 etc. Maybe your dealer is trying to make a sale on what he has instead of earning your dollars.
P,
Were u on Ford's ite, or a quote site? Ford's site has the difference tween the Premium and Deluxe at about $1,180. A Deluxe needs the $195 interior sport pk, $665 Shaker 500, $695 leather seats (and who knows what else given Ford's crappy web site), to even come close to the GT Premium car features. These options come to what $1,540 in options for the difference you can pay 3/4 of the bogus transportation fee they charge us out here in SoCal and have a Premium instead of a delux.
I got the Deluxe with the sport upgrade and leather seats; the Shaker is really the only thing that made it not a "Premium." I didn't really want the Shaker anyway & really glad now (skipping, etc.) that I didn't get the Shaker. I'm happy with the single CD, etc.; others figure they can get better than the Shaker for similar money in the aftermarket. Plus, it was right there on the lot, so I jumped on it (again, glad I did - prices have gone up since then). I haven't seen or heard of a Deluxe GT anywhere in the month since I got mine, so maybe Ford isn't pushing the Deluxe option. Hard to say...
