Tell Crown Ford that you don't want the car. Order another one and keep doing that until they start negotiating the price. That's what I'm going to do. Any deposit that you made is totally refundable - just take it to another dealer and reorder.

Oh, they paid alright. They ended up writing a check to me for $15,000 more than I paid for it. It enabled my to order the 05 S281E that I will have later this spring.

I've seen a few posts here about the heat shield rattling at idle, because it needs some extra bolts. I notice a rattle in my car when I go over bumpy roads. It sounds like it's coming from the rear passenger side (although it could just be the rear in general.)
I have no way of getting under the car myself. I don't think I'd know where to look even if I could.
Do you think this could be from the same thing and I should have my dealership look at it?

It doesnt matter where its from.. a new stang should not rattle unless you ran over a kid in a wheel chair [sm=badbadbad.gif] . Take it in to the drealer and they will fix it. Just make sure you mark your miles and check out your car before you give it to them! [sm=icon_beat.gif]

I'll be sure to note the mileage. I have to get the gas tank replaced too so they're going to have my car for a bit. It sucks, I just got it and I don't want to be without it. [
