Lol. Well, when I did mine, I forgot to plug the radiator fan back in. Drove fine for a week or so with no issues until I got stuck in traffic on the expressway. I look down while sitting idle and the guage is in the red. Now im stuck in bumper to bumper traffic with no shoulder to pull over on. I crank the heat on, praying for traffic to clear up. Well 5 minutes down the way it does. I get moving a little bit and the temp starts to drop. 1st chance I get to stop I pop the hood and suspected my idiotic mistake. Plug it in and all is fine. This was over a year ago and no issues with the car at all. Hope that makes ya feel a little better.


But I didnt need to pull the upper hose to do the pullies........

where did you get your instruction for the install.... that S.O.B should be shot. "disconnect the upper radiator hose" WHY!!!!

Yea I was hoping someone had a somewhat similar problem. Again I only drove it for 7 miles, about 10 minutes to my house after doing the install, didnt notice any smoking until I pulled into my driveway.

you should be ok.. As long as you didnt over drive it much. you said like 7 miles. so you should be fine. a good cleaning and tune will probably be all ya need,

I couldn't get the fan around the upper hose so I unhooked it to pull the fan out. No it wasn't in the instructions, I tried to make it more accessible

All's well, that ends well..............I guess the Red Lock-tite still stands as the Benchmark to shoot for, if you want the Title to change hands.

I thought I read a post of someone putting red locktite on his oil pan drain plug
