Default Interior Upgrade Options

Hi All, I think I posted on the forum awhile back I was getting the C6 Vette and the 05 Stang GT for my fiance. Well both things are coming really quick! (Should get build date on Stang today or tomorrow and picking the Vette up in June) She wants to know what she can do about the interior shift of the Stang. She ordered an Auto GT (I don't want to hear it, she doesn't know how to drive stick yet hehe) and doesn't like the way the "T-bar" shift **** is. Does anyone know where, or of a place that can replace that panel with an aftermarket (has to look really nice) piece. I am from Northern California, San Jose. Actually got it on Z plan pricing so some of the money we saved we want to put into the interior. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Default RE: Interior Upgrade Options

I test drove an 05 GT auto, before buying my stick car. Everyone here seems to ditch on them, but it was very quick. I wouldn't be unhappy with one. I ended up finding a 05 GT stick, that they would X-Plan, two days before it was delivered. So, I jumped on it, just to get on the road.

Your post is funny, I also was working on an 05 C6 Vette purchase, I got them to give me supplier pricing, but just couldn't do the $48K loan, on the stick Vette, and know I wanted a stick. So for now the Mustang, but I may sell this summer, and order the C6 as an 06.

Best of luck with your console situation. You might want to call, B&M direct to see what they offer.

BTW, second funny thing, my first name is: Chris

Default RE: Interior Upgrade Options

Very Ironic. Do you live in San Jose too?

FYI build date is 3/28 with the IUP option. Dealer said about 2 weeks after that for delivery. I don't want these guys giving test rides in my car, anyone have a better grasp on when I can expect it to arrive with that build date. I live in Northern California.

Thank you for your suggestion on who to contact. Anyone with a website I can check out for Interior Options like switching the shifter (auto)

Thanks again everyone.
