mine fits kindasnug also. i have the california car cover, noah. i put it over the mirrors first and then the antenna last. opposite when removing. take it off the anntena first. i noticed it goes on and off a little easier on a warm day rather than a cold day. just use a little finesse when you put it on and you should be ok.

I have the Ford cover & find it easier to put the antenna through it's hole first then the mirrors then pull it over the rest of the car. It's also a snug fit - at the 2007 International Mustang Meet mine was one of only a handful of covers that didn't get blown off during one night with strong winds.

I had posted installation instructions before so this will be just a quicky:

Unroll the cover down the middle of your car. Pull it over the antenna first then the passenger side mirror. Next walk around and pull it over the drivers side mirror. Then you can pull down either the front or back, no difference.
I have a feeling you might be pulling the cover over the front before doing both mirrors.
If not there are probably fit complications. Double check they sent you one for your model Mustang.
