I personally would love one but don't fret I'm a minority here.

I take it as you're not a Bullit fan -- wheres Daniel at? I'm sure you two can go back and fourth[8D] . I personaly don't like it all together so I'm not disappointed what so ever.

The only thing that interests me would be because of the color. I like green cars. Most of the cars I bought were green. But for the price, I would have passed.

The Premium with less mods is around 33,000 msrp. So for a couple of grand less, you get the Bullit with a tad more power, and looks great (less is better in my opinion), and has a few interior accessories. It will be a limited production.

I understand that everyone has an opinion, and you have yours, but there is already 6 sold at my dealer, without them even seeing it,and more than likely with a markup, meaning they are in high demand.

You may not like it, but alot of others do. That still does not justify you making a thread solely to bash a new, popular, limited edition.

Just my opinion.

I think it's exactly what it's supposed to be. Sticking a bigger engine in it would have made it unobtainable for most people.. and weighing it down with plastic body kits would make it look gay and over done.

The only thing not true to the theme is the lack of quarter window louvers. Even then.. this car was meant to be minimalist..so it fits what the original car was like.

What was special about the original Bullitt? Pretty much nothing outside of the 390 sitting in it, even then not so much. I personnally like it. The markup not so much.

Miscellaneous ramblings . . .

I think they should have at least given it the same size front wheels and tires that are on the GT500, but put that package at all four corners. From what I remember about the movie, the Bullitt is supposed to have a littlemore of a handling emphasis than the GT, without the dragstrip image of the GT500 - and it should be "dressed" accordingly.

The engine tune doesn't look to be much different from what you get with the FRP1power upgrade package.

So far, I'm not pricing GT Premiums the way I want one at enough above $31k to make this any sort of outstanding value. Nor have I seen anything to give me any idea just how much firmer the Bullitt suspension specs might be, or how they might compare with what's available through, say, Steeda.
