Default Rear Seat Delete Kit

Anyone have one personally? How do you like it? IDK if I want to do it yet. I mean it does kinda look cheap, and only me and maybe one other person sits in my car but still, the option of 4 is nice. Worth $150? How much weight could be saved just by gutting out the seat beats and the child restraints?

Is this a Ford item? Anybody got any pics of one in their own vehicle?

I also see different claims of weight savings amongst suppliers, obviouslya direct link to the weight of the replacement parts.

The third party offerings I've seen appear to be somewhat cheesy/simple MDF with Carpet wrapped round it. Are there more classy, well finished, seat delete kits?

itscomparable toa 5hp gain, for 100 or so bucks its not a bad idea. They are just wood wraped in carpet, i think they look fine but i dont car about interior mods so thats jmo. best for non daily drivers and track junkies.

This is a mod that reduces the quality of the car. why do it? There's 60 lbs of sound dampening material between the doors and in the hood liner and you don't want to reduce traction on the rear end, that's like LOSING 2 hp.
