Default Suspension mods

Anyone done any suspension mods to their '05? Especially any of you that have been increasing RWHP and torque?
Any do's or do nots?
TIA

Everyone seems to do a lowering via springs. I haven't started to mod. my 05 GT yet. I did stop by a shop that does this type of work, and is nationally known. They idicated that in their opinion, that a properly adjustable, replacement strut isn't available for the 05 GT yet. That at this time it would require a custom made strut. Sounded a little to expensive to suit me, so I have been watching the market.

Keep in mind that this shop, prep.s Cobra's to run and handle well on the track at 140mph.

This is what I was wondering about too.. is it possible to lower the mustang an inch without needing new shocks and struts? Somethign that wont affect the ride too much

You would lose an inch of bound (down-travel) but gain an inch of rebound (uptravel)... Technically you don't gain/lose anything, but your shocks/struts won't be tuned to the height, and could affect ride. It's usually something you'll notice fairly quickly, and if you flog your car, you'll notice it a lot more.
