Default NEED HELP WITH MID PIPES

Hey people, I need your help. I have been thinking of changing out my stock H-pipe for an off road one. I was going to go with the JBA Long tubes and Off road h-pipe but am starting to second guess myself. First off if any of you heard this setup in person it sounds amazing but very loud. Yes I said loud!
My question is this.....Do you get that unburnt exhaust smell from the off road set up? I have a friend who has a 93 LX 5.0 and he has the off road x-pipe and it has that smell to it. I don't want that with my car!
Any help and opinions would be helpful in making up my mind

Cheers
