Installed my vortech.

About 14hr install time.

ALOT OF Re-routing to the coolant & powersteering lines.

You will need some special tools. I expect Procharger is very simular.

I would guess the Saleen or Whipple are among the easiest. --Not from experience, but from looking at the units.

I think the most self-installs on done on the Saleen for a reason
Yeah, because if you can't afford a KB you can't afford an instell either[8D]

We have installed every blower out there available for our cars. I would have to say the Saleen is by far the easiest blower to install. We have installed the blower in less than 3 hours on a mustang. The next easiest blower would be the basic Whipple non-intercooled kit.

i would just like to add.....we shouldn't
take anything away from the guys who
did their own installs. even if we all think
one may be easier then the other, there
is still a whole lot of work that is done and
it is still a major accomplishment in my book.

Remote mount Blowers are easier than twin screw - Period. How can they not be?? No intake removal.

I wish I could have tackled this myself[&:]I was just pointing out the greatness of the KB!
The shop that installed mine had never done a KB on a s197 and quoted me 1k. They had it for a week and said the next one would be 1500.00.
