There is a great step by step guide at the G2 website here:

And if you are looking for something other than the standard red we now carry all of the G2 Custom Mustang colorsincluding the Windveil Blue.

Unless you sanded the calipers before you painted them, the finish of the spray paint and the brush on stuff should be very similar due to the texture of the calipers themselves.
I have heard that the spray tends to chip worse than the brush on stuff. But obviously yours is holding up well.

Maybe the steel wool helped than or possibly the spray paint fills the voids of the metal a little better. Who knows whatever works, its all better than stock!

VHT brake caliper paint (red on calipers, black on center of rotors) and VHT epoxy wheel paint on wheels.

You paint the wheels yourself? If so, how hard was it and how does it hold up?

Aside from the blisters wet sanding them, it went very well. VHT epoxy wheel paint is practically indestructable when prepped and applied properly.
Got it from Jeg's.

Are all of these pictures of stock brakes? Because I might paint mine red and I was wondering if I should even bother doing it on stock brakes.

Mine are stock...
It will look better than what you've got now - for a total investment of $20....why not?
