Cheapest place for the GT500 pump?
OR do you think the price will come down soon if i wait a few months?. I really don't need it until the Spring, but I'd like to install it over the Winter. It would be one less project for the Spring since I promised my girls I'd build them a tree house then.
+1....androdz quoted me 610 plus shipping...thats a great deal. I am still waiting to hear from my freind at the ford dealer. He may get them at wholesale which he thinks is under 600, If he does,. i will advise ..
Cheaper Alternatives:
1. Wiring Upgrade to FPDM and Fuel Pump (Gains 10%): Up to 6500 rpm with 3.4 pulley.
2. GT Supercar Pump for smaller pulleys. So you have to modify the wiring and bucket.
The bucket needs to be modified over 450 rwhp anyway (long runs can empty it) and
the wiring is just changing a couple of plugs.

Couple of questions about the GT500 pump.
- Is it a direct swap out for the stocker? no wiring or pipework changes?
- Is the pump self regulating depending on demand? or do you have to have it calibrated or setup in any way?

PS: Bob, I will let you know what I find out....TJ
No. Alternative Auto go with the 60lb injectors instead. They say they never saw a problem yet although the pump is running full duty cycle at full EFI demand.
Just wondering if I should whack one in myself to be safe.

I spoke with Brenspeed and they said it was a no brainer installation, no splicing or anything, so it should be a big deal to install yourself.
