GTO would win stock for stock

 

I dont think it would win stock for stock. the GTO weight ALOT more than the GT.

 

they did this test in an artcicle, i think it was car and driver. the mustang won the foot racebut the gto outhandled it, just barely. at the end of the article they declared the mustang the overall winner due to weight, customizable options, and price.

 

The GTO doesn't weigh A LOT more, it weighs about 3700 lbs and our cars weigh about 3400...with my fiance driving her car at 115 lbs. and me driving my car at 175 lbs. its only like 240 lbs difference in weight...if we use our driver weights as stated above...also you gotta remember her car isn't tuned and mine is...if she tunes that thing she'll be at about360 hp at wheels, most likely, just byleaningit out some with her intake and exhaust, although the catbackexhaust doesn't help the goat very much but the intake helps a little...We are waiting to get hers tuned in case she wants to get some other mods at the same time...
