Default 64 1/2 - 68 stylings on an s197?

Has anyone attempted or seen an attempt to replicate the old stylings on a 2005+?

with the whole chrome bumpers/bumper guards/trim, hood lettering as well as the lower round turn signals. I know I've seen the shelbys with the hood lettering but that's the extent of it.
definitely not something I'd be able to do but I'm just curious to see if it's been done and what it looks like.

There is a company that makes some kind of stick on chrome bumper pieces but most on the forum agree they look pretty horrible. The round lights like that could be done if you have a GT500 front bumper...and run your blinker lights to the fog lights. I guess you'd have to fill the original turn signals though. Seems like a lot of work and I don't think anyone would really notice you did anything custom.

I think the retro styling queues are enough without having to try and convert it to an old school look with a bunch of chrome trim. The chrome letters just dont look good on these cars.

With the exception of the mirrors, and the Chrome around the windshield it had me fooled.
