Got new wheels for my car, went with the Shelby 69 black 18x9, looking at the nitto 245 40 18 for the rear and 245 45 18 for the front ,any sugustions on this combo, I know i wont be able to rotate which is no biggie, The ones with the Nittos how do you like them, thanks, car is 07 gt lowered with Roush springs in rear, 331 gears, 5 speed,
With that combo your back tires are going to be 25.71" tall and your front are going to be 26.68 You want to get these a little closer to the 27"

How about 255 45 18s all the way around? that is 27.03 " tall then you can rotate and your speedometer won't be off.

If you want wider you need to look at the first number 245 255 265 etc that is width. 40 50 60 is aspect ratio, which will give you side wall height with a little math. If you want wider in the back try 275 /40 in the rear and 245/45 in the front. 26.68 diameter for both.

Go with 255/40/18 front and 285/40/18 rear

that will give you the staggered look you want and not generate anymore wheel well gap, which a smaller diameter tire will do.

Here is a web site that will give you a comparison of any tire sizes.

I have 275/40/17 in the rear and 245/45/17 in the front and to me it looks good and its going to keep my tire prices down when i have get to new ones once the nitto drags burn off, lol...also I bought a set of 17x9" bullit wheels for the rear to be able to use the 275 wide tires properly, technically installing those tireson 8" wide rims is not the proper way to go and causes thesidewalls to bulge...
