I'm not sure any more, but I have my doubts.

I do know that the Feds went after one company that was selling those things, fined them and made them recall the ones that they had already sold. That's the short version. I think there was a discussion or two in the 'Street Touring' forum over at www.sccaforums.coma few months ago that provided links to online versions of the court settlement documents.

Wait, you want to eventually get a supercharger, but don't want to buy a tuner? You'll gain more from tuning alone then removing the converters.

But, if you really want to do this without a tuner, look forMIL Eliminators.

i think he means he wants to wait and get a kit that includes a tuner, i think, if my crystal ball is correct.

but on the question about the MIL eliminators: i did have them and they worked, this was when my tuner broke bc i dropped it and had some MIL's to use in the mean time while it was getting fixed.

not really, you will still need the tuner when you get your s/c.....so why not get it now? You should not have to get a new one...
