reposting in the main section since i didnt get much of a response in the sub forums - i hope someone might help or shed a little light...

started yesterday - quiet faint whistle almost like its coming from far outside but its me for sure - comes and goes at very low cruising speeds 20-30 mph*

drivetrain mods - eibach pro lowering springs - 3:73 gears - tires 285/35/18- 245/40/18 - 06 auto GT -

what could it be ? tranny? wheels ? gears? pinion angle issue from lowering?

Might be air moving through the tb? I have a whistle as well. AND I WANT MORE OF IT! Just love that sound. [/align]

I agree...me too...me too and me too. Mine does it on normal acceleration (but not all the time).

2nd gear has a winding whistling type sound in the auto, it is normal.

If this is a new noise,then I'd suggest you have a vacuum leak!

autos all whistle in second.

Never heard that whistle .. Maybe because I have an o/r mid-pipe ..

oh how i wish it was that kind of whistling:

its an auto - but its a high squeek/whistle sound even if no throttle is applied - like if im rolling slow through a parking lot - it will come then go -

oh and i just noticed my right side wheel sticks out more to the fender than my left (passanger side)
