Default hurst bushings

does anybody know the part number to the Hurst poly bushings? Are these entirely neccessary to install? I've looked around a little bit on the Hurst site, but I guess I'm not too sure what I should be looking for on their charts.

thanks

I think you just use the stock ones?

If you got a hurst shifter, it should have come with the bushings. Or are you just looking to replace the bushings on your stock shifter?

I bought a hurst from a guy who got them in bulk, new/never used for $133 (including shipping) but it doesn't have the bushings. If I won't see any difference otu of using the stock ones I'll use those, but if the stock ones screw things up I'd prefer to order what I need so I can get it installed as soon as I can

I bought my Hurst used and the package came upon during shipping and I lost the bushings and a bolt. I was able to find replacement bolts, but I had to reuse the rubber grommit from the factory shifter. It works fine for me, but now that it has gotten cold here in Michigan, when I don't drive the car for a few days I can hear a creaking sound coming from the shifter. I assume its from that bushing. Maybe in the spring I'll swap it out for the Steeda poly bushing.

The Hurst bushings are arguably too firm for the shifter anyway. One day, when i feel like getting under the car, I'll be swapping my Hurst poly bushes out for the stock Rubber ones.
Will stop the clonking the linkage gives when you change gear................

ok, i'm a bit confused. I've read 2 guides online about the hurst install and both of them mention swapping the stock bushing/sleeve into the new hurst. it reads as if the hurst doesn't come with any bushing or sleeve. i just ordered a hurst and want to know if i need to order poly bushing seperately. thanks.

great guys, thanks for the input...I was told that it would work but didn't know if it was optimal. Now all I need is for the damn delivery guy to gimme my goodies!

BTW- I love this site; it is way friendlier than many car forums I've been on and somebody is always willing to try and help.
