How do I do a GT spoiler delete?
If you just recently bought it try going back to the dealer and asking them if you can trade for the delete kit, tell them you're not 100% happy with the look? Some dealers are really helpful and want you to be happy with your car so you'll come back next time you go looking for a new car. Worth a try anyway.
I wanted the spoiler delete from the factory too but they didn't have any at the dealer, couldn't even find any with the options I wanted in the state. It'll probably end up costing you around $300 to have the holes welded and repainted, so if you don't have the money right away, using some sort of plugs is fine till you can have them filled.
I've been trying to find a black V6 without the spoiler for over a year. So far, no luck. If anyone out there has a black V6 stang without a spoiler, would like a free spoiler, and can meet me within 150 miles of new orleans, PM ME PLEASE!

You can get trunk lids at NewTakeoff, or at least you used to be able to.

It's easy to remove the spoiler, there are 2 bolts on each side that you can get to from the trunk. With those removed go to work on the tape that's holding it on, fishing string works well, just saw it off. They sell plugs that you can use, I took some flat head bolts and sprayed them black and put them on.

Cool, the plastic push pins sound like a good idea I'll probably end up doing that. Also the bolts sound like a good idea too. Didn't realize the holes would be that small, but now I think about it it obvioulsy makes sense.
Thanks for the pic 157db... I don't get the tape though? Are you doin that so the holes come out clearer in the picture?

DRILL holes into my trunklid for a GT spoiler. [
]Just the exact opposite of what you want to do.
I took my spoiler off too. Love the look. Only problem is the factory had tightened the bolts down so hard that is put small waves in the trunk lid. Only correct fix would be to do the body work and re-paint.
Used decklid w/o wing, might even find right color at salvage yard. Exchange should not run more than 100.00
