Good video, thanks. I don't think those two little washers will affect the performance of the mounts in any way, they are too thin, but they should help eliminate the metal to metal contact. Mine vibrated a lot initially but after yesterday's track day, the vibration is gone. I hope they are not going soft on me already.

Went back to original mounts for the mustang
Had to go back to the original mounts as the vibration was to much for every day driving around town. Driving a v6 2006 mustang auto, so for driving around town etc the bullets were to hard even though I did like the response of the harder mounts it was just to much noise and vibration.

I installed a couple EOM mounts from Advanced Auto $90 each. The car rides like normal, very quite no vibration.

FYI. This whole thing started when the car would rumble at stop, I thought it had something to do with the computer, It was driving me crazy. Had it looked at by a couple mechanics they didn't know what it was so I finally took to Ford to put on the analyzer, nothing wrong, the mechanic told me the engine mounts were weak and it was moving around and that was causing the rumble. WTF

You should have waited a bit longer before removing them. Mine have quieted down quite a bit. I guess they need a break-in period. But I guess in your case for driving around town the OEM's will do just fine.

sell the poly mounts on craigslist, your v6 has more nvh than a v8 so chalk it up to a learning day. I could say more but I'm not gonna. good luck

Actually the company took them back for a refund which I thought was very nice of them. Streetrays on Ebay was the seller. Excellent

Just out of curiosity on a percentage base's what percent have they quieted down? 50% 60% etc. Thanks

My guess is around 50%. Either that or I'm just getting used to them, but passengers don't complain so that's always a good sign.
