I finally got my pics from Geico, and now they are taking my car to the ford dealership because they sat the shop didnt know what they were talking about, but it was a shop they recommended, thats a lil fishy. Any way its not going to be totaled now, and here I have signed a purchase order for the shelby. Now get this, the salesman screwed up big time, he put the vin for the shelby on the purchase order but put the price of the regular shelby, whatever that is. Do I stand a chance for legal ramifications, because it was their screw up and I signed the contract and the promise to pay for a gt500? the final price came to 45000. The damage to my car was the radiator, crossmember, spindle broken, front bumper replacing, lights, 3 wheels, and 3 tires. Will my car come back from this kind of damage, i dont want to have one of those cars that look like its riding crooked down the road if you know what I mean. wow...that's some cheap labor rate pricing.... around here it'd be at least 2x

 

it was one of their recommended shops so they probably got a break

 

Maybe I'm missing something, but you thought they were going to write the car off and so ordered a replacement..... and the damage is limited to about $2.5k's worth ? [&:]

 

Unless I'm going blind, I don't see that as "wrecked"....

 

The shop they first took it to said it would be totaled, and the adjuster ran with that. He in turn called me in and said my car was a goner. I dont know much about cars obviously, I mean I can install stuff on them like my supercharger, but all the other stuff you guys talk about on here im usually lost. Geico then took it to another shop and they said the car would be fine, obviously geico is going to go the route that wont cost the most

 

You cant see the damage to the bumper, but it is there, and most of it is the undercarrige, if im using that word right.
