Default Shift **** dumb question

Does anyone knowifa late model stang's shift **** will fit as a keg tap handle? I can easily try it when I get home - just thought someone knew off the top of their head. Thanks.

I don't know (and doubt anyone will "off the top of their head"), but I like the way you're thinking.

Cheers!

Oh c'mon now...I gotta believe someone has tried this!

btw loveyour car, mine is the same color combo (no CS for me tho). Wheels are chrome, right? 17 or 18? They look good. I'm looking to pick up a set of themto swap out during summer.

Hey, thanks a lot! They're the 18" wheels. I think that's the perfect size for these cars. Now that I'm used to the 18s, the 17s just don't have the same look, IMO. And I just couldn't imagine going for 20s, although I've seen a few on this board that look really good!!

Now if I can just get the funds to lower the car, I think it would look better. But that's way down on the list of things to buy, as are most of the fun things for the car. Post-Christmas bills and all.

If you don't mind, would you send me a PM if/when you figure out if you can use the shift **** as a tap? I'm probably going to build a bar in my basement in the next few months, and you just added to my long list of possible ideas!

I think the chrome Foose legends will look great in 20's. I veen the chrome nitrous on a white CS and it looked hot but the Legends should look even cleaner. JMO.

Hey ckone...

You may even want to look at buying something like this and see if you can get it to function as a tab handle. I think this would look bad@$$.

Great. Let me know if you find out. Are the threads in your shift ball right at the bottom or recessed inside the ball further? Tap handles just have a few threads and will not fit into anything deeper - the threads of the **** need to be right at the edge.

Perfect! If I can figure this out I'm ordering one - but they're currently on backorder.

I don't think so. US faucets are 3/8-16. But that's what a Hurst **** is, right?
