I want to buy a mustang GT for when i go to school, but that means i will be driving it in the winter. Just wondering how many people actually drive them in the winter and store them.

I live in New Orleans. Our winter is like most people's spring, so I drive it year round.

well.... when its dry, sunny and over 40 I do.....

however when I was in school..... I had a LX 5.0 in the heart of NYs snow belt... DD - snow and all.... put snows on all 4 corners and it was fine as long as you used common sense!

I live in the same county as a huge salt mine, and our terrain is mostly hills. Salt is literally cheaper than sand here, so if you drive your car in the winter, you can see it melt away. I had a 66 Mustang that I bought used at the end of 70, it only lasted until spring 72.

I plan on keeping this one a bit longer, it sits in my barn during the winter.
