Default touch paint...how good does it work?

a few quesitons about it.....i have some minor scuff marks on the rear bumper and just got some on the front bumper today that rubbed all the way to the black under when i tried to put my car on ramps and it rubbed....at least its not so visible....but i was curious how well touch up paint would work?

i've put touch up paint on other cars and it has always been thicker than the coat on the body and never look neat so im not thrilled about doing it to this car unless theres a good kit to fix up the scratches with...............anyone?

Have you tried to buff out the rear bumper? If they're just scuffs, it's a good chance that it's just in the clearcoat. Manufacturer's today use a lot of clear, so it's pretty forgiving.

yea i had the body shop do it last time and i tried some of meguiars scratch remover and it worked but it has like some pointing edges into the finish as if what ever the service rep was doing....he managed to back up into a rough surface and create little dots into the clearcoat and partially into the paint

Come again??

Kind of confused why you think touchup paint will solve that...

I've used the touch-up paint from the dealer and it came out great. I had the same problems with bumper scratches.
