I have the 275/40. I wouldn't do it, the tire IMO looks huge, and def not wide enough. Go 295.

Appears you and I have the same rim/tire combo... Except mine are the grey/silver rims. 275/40 rear & 255/40 front.

here is a pic of 275/35/20 (rear).. fronts are 255

it is closer to stock circumfrence that either 275/40 or 295/35... easier on the breaks.

I am leaning toward 255 up front and 295 in the rear.

Although it looks like I have to do 295/30 in the rear, I wish I could find a decent 295/35

The Nitto Invo is the only 295/35/20. They were just recently released so they might be hard to find, but they told me that Discount Tire Direct has them they just might not be on there site yet.

Toyo Proxes S/T make 255/40/20 and 295/40/20.........the tire is a sport truck radial but i know plenty of mustang people using these tires and they look fine..and the prices on these are pretty good..... www.tiresavings.com
