GREAT picture Boozshey! What a great idea!

I was also concerned about switching out the stock shifter. Mine is a daily driver and I spend part of my commute in stop and go traffic on a big city beltway. Last thing I wanted was something to make it more aggravating. That being said, the Hurst was the best thing I could have done. After a week or two of normal shifting, it broke in to the point where I can rest my arm on the armrest and shift through gears by simply wrapping my finger around the lever and giving a tug or a push. It's still notchy and you can really yank on it when traffic opens up! BUT, it's such a short shift that it requires little effort.

I would recommend the Hurst to anyone who drives their car daily because it truly is a creature comfort upgrade. Plus it looks badass!

Good luck with the install!

Hurst equals click, clack, sure thing. It seems to belong on this car. I'm almost sure you will like it better. If not, it can be re-sold very easily.

Not a problem at all. I think the old saying "A picture's worth a thousand words" fits the bill here. It answers a lot of questions if you ask me...

I have the Hurst shifter and if I had to do it all over again i would go MGW. Tried the MGW in a friends car and it is definatley the better of the 2. The Hurst is a big improvement over stock but its also very notchy and at times gets to be a pain in the *** in traffic. Im going to save my pennies and get the MGW.

someone posted a pic that morph 4 pictures into one showing the difference between the stock and hurst when it was in first and second if you can find that pic you can see how big the difference is
That was me... Here's the pic again...

That's my car! Sorry, just thought it was pretty cool. I took the four pics when I installed the shifter, and Boozshey put them all together. Great work, Boozshey!

Oh, and I absolutely love the shifter! My car is my daily driver, and I have no complaints.

+1 -- love the Hurst

ORIGINAL: Bluestar

I love the Hurst Shifter.......If you want you can go through all 5 gears with your elbow on the console, just by flicking your wrist. For the Price, You can't beat the Hurst.
