Thats a little extreme don't you think ^^^? I personally like them, but I would think rain, gravel, snow, anything that could potentially get on your shoes would scratch or ruin em. I think if you want to pull that off you would need them to stay immaculate so, if you don't mind telling your girl to take her shoes off, you're all covered.
I like the look, but the lack of absorbency kinda defeats the purpose, no? I expect that a floor mat would absorb and contain the wet mess from my shoes instead of letting it run off onto my carpet.
How does your feet get any traction, <----- that sounds dumb, but I mean doesnt your feet slip around alot when your shoes are wet. That would get on my nerves.
