i am goin to get my windows tinted on my 06 gt. i heard from some of the tint places that on the front windows it is common for the tint to get scratched from rollin up n donw the windows. ever heard or experienced this?

yes look at taco bills how to and do the moleskin......problem solved

some tint place will do it for you also

Yea the previous owner of my car had the windows tinted and they were scratched when I bought the car. Make sure you get moleskin to protect from scratching

install the moleskin BEFORE you get the tint, i did mine two days after i got my windows tinted and now i have a few scratches on my tint

Yes you can. That is the exact same thing I plan on doing next week. I also intend to go a little darker on the front windows

Do the moleskin install yourself. It's sooooo easy. Just follow Taco Bills mod section.

I used moleskin, and guess what, still have some pretty deep scratches in mine.

i didnt use moleskin, over 2 months now not a single scratch in the tint, but maybe they did something new for the 08's? i dunno

There suppose to be differentinside window trim. But I had my dad order one from ford and he said it doesn't look any different. So I don't know
