Gauges? UPDATE PICTURES
So i just thought i would update you guys on where i am with the gauges install.
I am going to do a full write up when i am done explaining everything and the snags i encoutered on the way!
measure twice, cut once!
pilot hole drilled
going for it! kinda fun and nerve wracking at the same time lol
done!!
here you can see the innovative wideband A/F gauge, and in the saleen gauge pod are the mechanical boost gauge, and the electronic fuel pressure gauge, both autometer C2 gauges. Notice the fuel pressure is pinned all the way at 100? something is wrong with the sensor/sending unit and its just sending the full signal
And finally.. the coolest feature of the Innovative gauge and sensor system, I also installed the blue tooth option for it.. so everything it logs i can view and log in realtime on my sony UMPC i bought just for the car!!
for some reason i cant get the tach signal to log on the computer yet..
but so far the system is logging
A/F ratio
RPM (when i get it sorted out)
Side for in G's
Acceleration in G's
Boost
Fuel pressure (also when i get the sending unit replaced)
When its all done it will also be logging
timing advance and retard
oil pressure
oil temp
intercooler charge temp
like i said, i'll do a full write up when i am all done, i have 2 more gauges to go!

RE: Gauges? UPDATE PICTURES
I'm into gadgets and that setup is pretty cool. I use the MSD DAshhawk for monitoring the O2 sensors and the G2X data logger for performance monitoring.
I have a question though, about A/F monitoring.
I know the subtle differences between wide and narrow band sensors, buthonestly, i don't really see the need for a wide band monitoring system if you have a way of reading the stock O2 output. The OBD port on our rides delivers a lot of info including the output voltage for the o2 sensors, if you know what your WOT A/F voltage should be, then surely that's good enough right [?].
I know that an A/F ratio of 11.5 will force an O2 output of 850mv, so that's what I look for during hard throttle useage which, if we're honest, is the only time we're really interested in it. Any other time, idling/normal driving, I couldn't care less what it's reading, within reason[8D]
I admit though, just a nice easy to read gauge, like the one SHREDDER is using would be a nice touch, if only they would read from the stock O2 output either directly or from the OBC. Would be a lot cheaper too.
