Default Gains between Mail order tune and dyno tune

Has anyone had both dynoed with the same mods. I'm curious to know how much more HP/TQ over the mail order tune a dyno tune has given. I just have a mail order tune with 288 hp, before I spent the money. I want to know if a dyno tune would make that higher. I hope you guys understand what I'm asking. lol

I have Brenspeeds Tunable Inductions CAI & 91 octane tune andlater had them dyno tune my car. I don't know about other tuners, but I know first hand, they test their tunes so well, I didn't notice any difference with my "Butt dyno". 1.5 rwhp was the real gain on the dyno.

Yeah, how could we possibly tell.

Maybe you should ask the tuner for a money-back guarantee. No charge if he can't get better performance than what you currently get with your mail-order tune [8D]

That maybe true because on a Dyno you are dealing with just that one car and you can push it as far as you are comforable. But If you got a mail order tuner that pushed it to the edge on one car then you might blow up another even though they are the same. All cars are somewhat picky

here everyone... heres the answer to this thread... and thats about what thedifference is in all of brenspeeds tunes. i watched 3 stangs get dyno'd here in vegas and all with brenspeed tunes except for 1. both brenspeed tunes were 1.3 and 1.6 hp less than the dyno tune. the evoloution performance tune was 2 hp less than the dyno tune. hope this answers a lot of questions.
