So if I had the cash I would be buying a whipple right now, but I dont but I do want to know how many people are running the HO kit, As my forum education learns me that over 450 rwhp is a nono, and the HO kit is boasting 500+ is that rwhp or no? my target is 425-450 rwhp , So do i go ho kit or non ho kit , thanks laters

I dont have a H.O. or any SC in my car but I can suggest you to get the H.O. and get a 8 or 7 psi pulley to keep power more safe.
The H.O. doesn´t make 500rwhp unless you throw in a 11 - 12 psi pulley I think.

Whipple claims 500+hp at the crank, not wheels, but i've seen a few very close to that at the wheels. Of course dyno numbers are pure shiot most of the time. Even whipples test car made 489rwhp or something along those lines. I would get the HO kit if you want the whipple. If you want a bit less hp then switch to the 3.6 pulley. It will work fine with the stock tune.
Here's my crank hp. I will know how close that is or how off the dyno is in 7 days. I would like to think Hammeron for pushing me to go out and take that picture. I need to put the 8psi pulley on and do another horsepower run. I'm gonna take it to redline in 4th this time to scare Hammeron. (note: redline = 125mph, i have 4.10 gears)

I would have to agree with Moose and get the H.O. kit and you will not regret it! I am running the 10 psi kit and put down the numbers to the rear wheels you see in the sig.......remember even if you have 600 RWHP on stock internals if you never use that or beat on the car the motor will be fine. It is an outrageous example but you see my point....to me the best way to describe the feel of my Whipple....she feels more like a big block motor in acceleration because of the instant addicting boost and thru the RPM range........sign Hammerons Boosted thread when you get er done!
