Default Okay, so what if...

I went with a wheel that was 18 x 10 and it had +45mm offset and 7.27" backspacing, would that allow a wider tire than a wheel with +34mm offset and 6.41" backspacing? I want like a 295/35 or 315/30 size drag radial...

more offset puts the back edge of the wheel farther inward. you need to check for tire clearance on the inside of the wheel well and suspension parts. less offset will allow you to "overstuff" the wheel without rubbing concerns but the tire may stick out past the fender.

So I need less offset to get the bigger size tire on...Hmmm what about backspacing though? What does that have to do with it?
