thanks for the comments everyone. It should pretty sick when it is all done. been working on it quite a bit lately and have most of my parts here or on the way to finish it with the exception of some of the small things and should make quite a bit of progress on it next week getting the cage finished up and seat brackets built then it will at least be driveable again till I get the new motor built

ups showed up again with a lot more goodies and another block. no damage this time. have new struts with lowered spindles that will use the willwood lightweight fox body brakes along with a chromoly aje control arms and k-member that didnt show yet that should be a weight savings of nearly 150 lbs on the front. time to get to work now and decide for sure on what intake set up I will be using. shouldnt be long now.

Hmmm hope you have better luck with SHM.. I've used them before on a 2v project a while back and the block didn't hold what they advertised. It was a pos that started an unfortunate nightmare...

working on it as much as possible. bad weather shuts me down at work and I get to work on it during those times. have all the cage done except for the bars that go through the dash, and finally got the dash out last night so cage should be finished this weekend as well as the struts and brakes installed. seats will be easy to finish then all that will be left is building the engine. I think it will take between 2 and 3 weeks for that because I am having a custom ground cams built and will have to have the final honing done and assemble the motor and check for valve to piston clearance. once that is completed it will go fast. I am calling kinsler in the morning and checking into having a injection system built for it, if not I will start building a sheetmetal intake and that will take a little more time.
