turbonator fine print
GAINS WILL VARY BASED ON A NUMBER OF FACTORS INCLUDING THE TYPE OF VEHICLE, THE AGE OF THE VEHICLE, AND OTHER AFTERMARKET CHANGES MADE TO THE VEHICLE. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY PARTICULAR VEHICLE AND DRIVER WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE GAINS IN HORSEPOWER OR FUEL EFFICIENCY SIMILAR TO THOSE REPORTED BY PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS. Looks like its throttle position activated.
Its a generator for your battery when its off
with air still being drawn thru it like at idle?

RE: WTF is this thing?
they are made to work the best on inline 4's. during the summer, me and my friends met up every saturday night at a high school parking lot and showed off our cars and everything and kicked back and talked.. we would always get new people showing up and one person actually had one and his set up was detachable and everything.. his electric blower was hooked up to a special altenator to get its power. he was able to detach it and he put 3 beer cans (full) in the tube and it shot all 3 of them out to about 15-20 feet in the air. it sounded like a freaking vacuum. anyways, he put it on his 2004 civic si and we wanted to see if it made any difference.. i had a friend with a 2005 civic si and they raced (both cars automatic) we controlled the race by making them both hold the breaks and keep it at 2000rpm then let off the break and go down the street. believe it or not the one with the electric super charger beat the other civic by about 1.5 length in about half a mile. he said he blower costed around 800$ so it might of been better than the 70$ ones on ebay
