Default Any experience w/this alum driveshaft?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...spagenameZWDVW

Would like to take advantage of the good information from this forum and ask any opinions on this particular driveshaft OR your suggestion on a Alum driveshaft. Been debating strongly about this being my next mod but wonder if the upgrade is really worth $500+.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

looks pretty sweet, i like the 3.5" diameter. I have the spydershaft, bought it mainly because of the great reviews on here, and it is awesome, no new NVH...Ron (the distributor) is also a forum member and helps out as much as possible.

I was wondering aboutthe same shaft myself. I would gowith the spyder shaft but I am lowered and Want a 3.5" instead ofa 4" like the spyder. I would like the extra clearance. By the write up it sounds good. But you knowits easy tojust say its great, come buy it....Maybe someone with one will respond.

Is there any real difference between the 3.5" and the 4"?

The 4" should have a higher HP rating

I have the Spydershaft as well and its great but now I'm afraid I won't be able to lower it. I just want to put on Roush rear springs which is not too big a drop. Anyone no if this would work without the driveshaft hitting on bumps.

I don't think there should be a problem, if you look at this pic:

You'll see that the spydershaft is actually higher than the exhaust h-pipe, so unless you're scraping your pipe over bumps already I doubt you'll have much of a problem. I may be wrong so if you have any first hand experience please feel free to correct me.
