Default Pulled over for a license plate?

I have had my 2006 GT now for two years and it's about time I got vanity plates. I was thinking about "TIKET ME", if my state's DMV will issue it.

Now, I'm generally a speed limit driver, 12 years on the road and I've never even been stopped by the police. Everyone I meet is convinced that police are going to pull me over for no reason if I get this plate.

Then again, I was told that I would be pulled over in my last Corvette, because it's a Corvette, you know. That didn't happen. I was also told that a racing stripe on my Mustang would also get me pulled over. Wrong again. My sequential tailights were supposed to get me pulled over, too. That didn't happen either. Headlight splitters were supposed to get me pull over as well. I've had them since June, passed inspection and a million police and I still haven't been pulled over.

Any thoughts? Will somehow attract police if I get this tag?

i would just say it would be a good reason for a bored cop to lead to other things that can get you a ticket. To me, if i was a cop i would see that and if i had a quota to meet or was in a bad mood I moght try to find something else to get you on.

If you follow the road rules (yeah, right)...you would have no reason why the cops would pull you over...if you don't then can't blame it on the plates...don't you think?

dumb idea. The first time you get pulled over is usually a freeby not for someone with that plate.

Don't... It is true you already have a stamp when you drive a certain car. Those plates will get you one for sure.
