Passport escort 8500 X50.. it has saved me countless times on the highway from ka band radar from cop cars. You still have to watch out for the lazer because by the time the radar detector detects it, it's too late to slow down the cop already has your speed.

I have the Passport 9500i and Love it....It is more expensive than most other Detectors but is well worth it...The First day I had it out it paid for itself 3 times over...

buy a v1, never ever worry again. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not buy any other brand untill you have done your home work. You will for sure find v1 on top..

I've got the V1 (Valentine) as well, with out a doubt the best on the market from what I've seen and from what I hear. It'll cost you a pretty penny but it's well worth it in my books

its funny to hear folks swear by their radar detector like there is no cure for the disease...

well, i have a beltronic 950 which was rated by the most trusted radar detector site in the world as the most reliable and resonable priced..about 300 dollars..

buy whatever you want but i see the cops shaking their fists when i roll by, mad that they cant catch me.. i pick them up a mile away

"you can do your homework, but make sure you come up with the RIGHT answer..."

K-40 here. It is the best IMO hands down. If you get a ticket within a year, you send it in and the company will pay it for you! No questions asked, now that is what it's all about it! I have never once got a ticket and i get on it everytime i get in the car
