I have the Passport 9500i and Love it....It is more expensive than most other Detectors but is well worth it...The First day I had it out it paid for itself 3 times over...

Good timing on this post I was looking to upgrade. I never knew this 9500 was out.

I had a V1 in 2000 hated the amount of falsing for everyday driving, drove me nuts and I got so my earstuned out and then got a ticket from it. I have a 7500 now and it's overall ok but does not have the range the V1 had. I think I will look to buy the 9500.

K-40 here. It is the best IMO hands down. If you get a ticket within a year, you send it in and the company will pay it for you! No questions asked, now that is what it's all about it! I have never once got a ticket and i get on it everytime i get in the car
And are they also going to pay the increased insurance rates because you got that ticket. Who cares if they pay for the ticket, that's a one time deal. But the insurance company will make sure you pay over and over and over.

When someone can make that garauntee then I might call it good. But until then it's completely worthless.

how about just don't speed? lol or date a cop... that's my advice.

I got a cobra.. not the top of the line I know but last I checked I didn't have $ to be throwing around.
I try to just set my cruise control to 5 over the limit because if I get a ticket it's bye bye mustang and hello moped or bicycle. I love my mustang so gotta drive like a grandma. LOL

I have the beltronics RX65 Pro, and it detects K, KA. X, and laser. and does not detect false alarms. Not to mention the range is phenomenal.

Who cares if they pay for the ticket? I don't know of 1 other brand out there that will do that! No, they obviously aren't going to payfor ur increased insurance rates but at least K-40 is out there saying they will stand behind their product and pay for ur ticket!

I've just got a Cobra .. if I'm going to drop a lot of money on a radar detector, I'll just buy a laser jammer.
